The Music Information Center for Young People, an
initiative of the Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia, is a co-structure of
its parent organization, created to serve the growing needs of the
information flow between both the professional and the amateur
musicians, composers, professors, with the audience and with the
professional organizers of various music and cultural events and
manifestations.
The main aim of the Center is to promote the right
of every individual for access to music and other cultural values.
The Center’s immediate target are the young
musicians and emerging talents, as well as their local, national and
international promotion and mobility in terms of performance and
education.
The center is open for all music styles and genres.
One of the most important roles of the Center lies
in the information flow, thus it strives to gather and disseminate
information about all kinds of music activities that take place around
Europe (large-scale manifestations, multimedia performances,
festivals, competitions, seminars, master-courses, music camps, youth
exchanges…). At the same, it enables and facilitates the direct
contact of the young musicians with the organizers of those events.
The Center also develops a Directory of Macedonian
music institutions, which work for and with the young and a Directory
of Macedonian young composers.
The current database of international events
contains information on more than 1000 individual projects that are
taking place all over Europe. The database will be available soon
directly to the young musicians on-line through this web page.
Meanwhile, if you want to find out something more about a concrete

contact you as soon as possible.
Current or worth-coming events are announced within
the “MUSICA INFO”
information bulletin, while the on-going projects taking place both in
Macedonia and abroad that require immediate attention are enlisted
within the Concerts and Events
Announcements page. You can also
choose to receive the monthly up-dated information about on-going
activities or worthcoming projects by e-mail regularly announced
through the “MUSICA
INFO” Bulletin.
Another opportunity that this site creates, is the
on-line data bank of musicians and young composers, members of
Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia, willing to offer their photo, short CVs
and repertoire to the net. For additional information, please contact
